Cherre, thanks for reading and commenting. I can answer only by what is known. We know Yeshua died in Passover week, but the exact day is not known. Some say 14 Nissan, the first month of the Jewish calendar year and in 30AD, that was a Wednesday. But the day we celebrate a pagan holiday is irrelevant. Passover is what we should observe, not Easter. There is no sin in celebrating the death and resurrection of Yeshua, whenever you celebrate it. I celebrate it every day. Religion dictates a day, but religion has no hold on us. We are not of this world.

Geoffrey, a VERY VERY VERY deep and profound writing, this piece! I will have to dig deeper on all this. I am fellow deep thinker and so appreciate this writing. Main thing is the confluence of Old Testament and New Testaments and how the life of Jesus Christ reflects the OT prophets and events. God does not play around, nor does He waste time. I certainly look forward to going Home, so I can truly dig into the meanings of all this and have endless time to worship, fellowship and learn from Papa God, His Son, the prophets and greats of faith of the past and to grow in my understanding of just what we have been given when we repent and ask God and His Son to partner with us into Eternity. Wonderful writing!

I am not sure what a “restack” is. I would like a reply in the comment section here, if u don’t mind. I am very concerned about observing the death and resurrection of our Lord on the wrong days. Thanks!

I refer you to this recent post from Dr Stephen Phinney where he states the historical case against Easter as the day of the death and resurrection of Jesus. Please understand that our religious doctrines and holidays are mostly not fron YHWH. They are pagan days adopted by the Catholic Church, sowed by Satan, to confuse people:

Very piercing podcast! My spirit is troubled. You said Jesus did not die on Good Friday or resurrect on Sunday. I have always observed those days in that way and I am wondering, is that sinful because we believed the lies of satan? I do not want to be guilty of letting him deceive me, and I am unsettled abut it. What day did He die on and what day was He resurrected?

Thank you Wendy. I can’t say I laboured over it for weeks, it came very spontaneously as most of my work does. I deeply appreciate your encouragement.
